TENSION TYPE HEADACHES

Tension type headaches are the most common type of headache. The pain often starts at the back of the head then travels to the forehead with the pain emanating from behind the eyes.

It can be episodic or chronic in nature occurring less than 15 days a month. The pain is often described as constant pressure, frequently bilateral, mild to moderate in intensity but can be severe. This type of headache is often mistaken for a migraine headache.
