A healthy functioning spine is essential for participating in everyday life.
The spinal vertebra nerves, muscles, ligaments; facet joints and disc under the control of our central nervous system allow us to engage in activities of work and play. When the spine is placed under constant stress from our activities of daily living, excessive body weight and trauma, our spines are exposed to injuries that are often ignored, and in most cases improperly treated. Without proper treatment, these injuries can cause damage to the intrinsic components of the spine, leading to arthritic changes and eventual spinal dysfunction that can rob us of a healthy and active life.
